　　八一学校国际部校长和教学总监会亲身帮助每一个学生，根据其特长、兴趣，本科专业导向乃至未来职业志向共同商讨并“*”出*的课程组合，助力学生踏入英美等国世界名校。

　　高一年级基础英语课程
　　本课程为基础英语阅读和写作课程，课程从基础词汇，句子，语法开始，进而介绍学术文章的写作和组织方法。学生将从段落开始，练习学术文章的写作；并且学会如何*举例，对比和比较，处理信息来完成议论文的写作。初期阅读材料的难度基于学生的英语水平，之后也会包括对诗歌和电影的分析，在学期末，他们会学习短篇小说。*此课程的学习，学生的学术英语能力，语音语调，听力都会得到提高。
　　ESL/English 10
　　This is the foundational academic English reading and writing course. Instruction begins with the word -- vocabulary -- and sentence --grammar -- and moves into academic organization of paragraph and essay. Students practice academic response paragraphs, as well as rhetorical thesis-driven essays in specific and extended examples,  compare/contrast, and process modes. Reading begins at each student’s level and also includes critical reading of poetry, analysis of literary film, and, near the end of term, short stories. 　　基础英语/高二英语运用与写作
　　获得学位的前提是所有高三学生必须修完基础英语课程。所以，在教务长和英语老师讨论之后，部分学生也许得学习这门课程。*这门课程，学生能够较为集中地学习语法、结构、语用等，并快速学会*英语写作去交流。这门课程有很大的写作量，还需要很大的词汇量，也会为学生大学写作应用做准备。
　　ESL/English 11: Mechanics and Composition
　　To earn a diploma, all 12th graders must place out of ESL.  Therefore, some students may be required to take this course upon the decision of the Academic Dean in consultation with the English/ESL instructors.  This course will serve as an intensive review of how to write and communicate effectively in written English with emphasis on the mechanics, grammar, and structure of the English language. There will be a lot of writing. There will be a lot of vocabulary. In addition, the class will help students prepare well for writing college application essays.

　　AP环境科学
　　AP环境科学的目标是了解自然世界的内在联系，识别和分析自然和人为的环境问题，对与这些问题相关的相对风险进行评估，并寻找替代方案来解决或预防这些问题。美联社环境科学是跨学科的,它包含了不同的研究领域相关的各种各样的主题。它还也有几个主要的跨越许多学科的统一主题。这门课程是为学生环境科学预科考试做准备的。
　　AP Environmental Science
　　The goal of the AP Environmental Science course is to understand the interrelationships of the natural world, to identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and human-made, to evaluate the relative risks associated with these problems, and to examine alternative solutions for resolving or preventing them. AP Environmental Science is interdisciplinary; it embraces a wide variety of topics from different areas of study. There are also several major unifying themes that cut across many academic disciplines.  The course prepares students for the Advanced Placement Environmental Science examination

　　该课程基于我们创造中心，将会让学生去探索，去设计从而发展思维；在真实的解决问题的场景下以开发团队的形式工作；从而发现他们自身的领导和创造性才能。学生要阅读《从优秀到卓越》这本书，学习怎样让自己的思维全面发展。另外，学生还将从所提供的商业模式中探究什么造就伟大的领导者和企业。*后，学生将会在从事领导、组织和服从的不同实践中对自身有更深入的认识。这门课将会有大量广泛的阅读，写作和组织课题、课堂展示以及商业策划等任务。
　　weCreate: Innovative Leadership from Good to Great
　　This course is based on the weCreate Center and will allow students to explore, design, and develop ideas; work as development teams in unique, real-world problem-solving situations, and discover their own leadership and creative talents.  Students will read “Good to Great” and learn how to take ideas from their infancy to full-scale development.  In addition, students will discover what makes great leaders and great organizations from the business models presented.  In the end, students will learn a great deal about themselves while getting opportunities to lead, organize, and follow.  There will be extensive expectations in reading, writing, and developing a whole host of projects, presentations, and business plans.
