高级物理
此课程几乎涵盖所有的*物理课程,包括力学,电学,磁学,光学以及宇宙学。此课程基于代数课程,包括三角函数。学生会定期在八一*的实验室里完成实验,包括传感器实验。培养学生思考问题,*数学解决问题的能力是本课程的核心。
Advanced Physics
The course will cover most of the areas of high school physics including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and cosmology. Advanced Physics is an algebra-based course and includes trigonometry. Laboratory work in the Bayi science labs will be a regular part of the course, including work with Vernier sensors. Problem solving will be the core of the course, training students to think and solve problems mathematically.
美国文学
这门课程将讲解主要的美国文学的文本,从土著美国人民间传说到后现代诗歌都有涉及。学生将学会在文本中以对话的方式理解美国文学的贡献。这门课程将教学生用具体的方法去精读文本,还教学生如何基于已有的观点、论据、分析结构去写反馈,这样的写作通常出现在大学课堂里。
American Literature
American Literature will acquaint students with the major texts of the American literary tradition, ranging from Native American origin tales to Romantic short stories to postmodern poetry. Students will learn how to understand these texts as a dialogue, centering around major American literary contributions. This course will equip students with specific tools for intensive reading of primary sources. It will also prepare students for writing responses based on the 'claims, evidence, analysis' structure used in most university classrooms.
AP微积分BC
这门课程是按照美国大学理事会先修课程委员会设置的课程标准来的,旨在平行大学第二学期的微积分课程。*学期的重点是复习并巩固在AP微积分AB*到的概念。这门课程的特色主题是综合数学的技巧和应用,一阶微分方程、无穷级数、参变量函数、极坐标和函数等。这一学年,学生会做AP考试题和模拟测试题,为明年五月的AP考试做准备。
AP Calculus BC
This course follows the curriculum established by the College Board Advanced Placement Committee in mathematics and is designed to parallel a second semester university-level calculus course. A significant part of the first semester is used to review and enhance concepts covered in AP Calculus AB. Topics specific to the Calculus BC curriculum include a variety of integration techniques and applications, first order differential equations, infinite series, parametric functions, and polar coordinates and functions. Throughout the year, students will be practicing AP exam-type problem solving and practice tests in preparation for the AP Examination in May.

weCreate: Innovative Leadership from Good to Great
This course is based on the weCreate Center and will allow students to explore, design, and develop ideas; work as development teams in unique, real-world problem-solving situations, and discover their own leadership and creative talents. Students will read “Good to Great” and learn how to take ideas from their infancy to full-scale development. In addition, students will discover what makes great leaders and great organizations from the business models presented. In the end, students will learn a great deal about themselves while getting opportunities to lead, organize, and follow. There will be extensive expectations in reading, writing, and developing a whole host of projects, presentations, and business plans. |
