　　高级化学课程
　　本课程的目标是帮助学生了解基础化学知识和原理，并使他们获得解决化学问题的能力。课程内容包括以下化学原理的学习：
　　l  原子结构与元素周期表
　　l  化学键，分子结构，以及价层电子对互斥理论
　　l  化学反应和化学计量法
　　l  PH，缓冲剂，化学平衡
　　l  热力学，动力学，电化学，自由能，熵
　　高级化学课程将为AP化学和大学化学打下坚实的基础。
　　Advanced Chemistry
　　The goal of advanced chemistry is develop an understanding of the fundamentals of chemistry and attain proficiency in dealing with chemical problems of all types. The course will include the study of a broad range of chemical principles including:
　　·  Relating atomic structure and the periodic table
　　·  Types of bonding, molecular structure, and VSEPR theory
　　·  Chemical reactions and stoichiometry
　　·  A study of pH, buffers, and equilibrium
　　·  Thermodynamics, kinetics, electrochemistry, free energy, and entropy.
　　Advanced Chemistry will provide an excellent foundation for AP or college chemistry.

　　这门课程会介绍各种各样的写作材料，这些写作材料基本是学生在大学会学到的。它也会教学生学术写作的要求，学生可以学会如何区分不同的修辞，使用适当的时态、语气和语言正式程度。分析性写作要求学生提出论点，而且每个论点都要要论据案例支撑。
　　ESL/English 11
　　This course will introduce students to the various types of written material they may encounter at the university level. This course will also instruct students in the conventions of academic writing. Students will learn to identify different rhetorical situations, and to adopt appropriate voice, tone, and level of formality. Analytic writing tasks will require the formulation of arguable claims accompanied by clear supporting evidence.

　　AP微积分 AB
　　这门课程是按照美国大学理事会先修课程委员会设置的课程标准来的，旨在平行大学*学期的微积分课程。这一学年，学生探究函数、极限、导数、积分（用传统的代数方法），还会*图形显示计算器来加深对这些概念在数字和图示方面的理解。它主要强调理解差异积分和基本积分的概念、技巧、应用。这一学年，学生会做AP考试题和模拟测试题，为明年五月的AP考试做准备。
　　AP Calculus AB
　　This course follows the curriculum established by the College Board Advanced Placement Committee in mathematics and is designed to parallel a first semester university-level calculus course. Throughout the year students explore functions, limits, derivatives, and integrals using traditional algebraic methods, while the understanding of these topics is enhanced by numerical and graphical explorations with a graphic display calculator. The emphasis is on the concepts, techniques, and applications of differential calculus and basic integral calculus. Throughout the year, students engage in AP exam-type problem solving and practice tests in preparation for the AP Examinations in May.

　　weCreate: Innovative Leadership from Good to Great
　　This course is based on the weCreate Center and will allow students to explore, design, and develop ideas; work as development teams in unique, real-world problem-solving situations, and discover their own leadership and creative talents.  Students will read “Good to Great” and learn how to take ideas from their infancy to full-scale development.  In addition, students will discover what makes great leaders and great organizations from the business models presented.  In the end, students will learn a great deal about themselves while getting opportunities to lead, organize, and follow.  There will be extensive expectations in reading, writing, and developing a whole host of projects, presentations, and business plans.
