　　八一学校国际部帮助*能够更加高效的学习，语言*课和丰富的课外课程。

　　八一学校国际部在校期间学生如果遇到任何问题，可以*时间向导师寻求帮助。导师会针对每个学生进行*，并负责撰写大学推荐信。

　　高一年级英语进阶课程
　　此课程为入校之前英语水平较高的学生开设。和基础英语课程相同，本课程从基础的词汇和句型开始，但是会以更快的速度进入学术文章和段落写作的学习。学生们会更早的接触高级英语阅读材料，包括海明威，奥斯汀，莎士比亚，肖邦，以及其他作家的作品。同样学生也会学习格拉德韦尔，KC科尔等其他著名散文家和评论家的非小说作品。
　　ESL/English 10 Accelerated
　　This is the academic English reading and writing course for students who enter the school at a more advanced English level. As in ESL/English, instruction begins with the word and sentence, but moves with a quicker pace into academic organization of paragraph and essay. More advanced reading is introduced earlier and includes selections from Hemingway, Austen, Shakespeare, Chopin, and others, as well as short nonfiction selections from Gladwell, KC Cole, and other noted essayists and writers.

　　基础英语/高二英语运用与写作
　　获得学位的前提是所有高三学生必须修完基础英语课程。所以，在教务长和英语老师讨论之后，部分学生也许得学习这门课程。*这门课程，学生能够较为集中地学习语法、结构、语用等，并快速学会*英语写作去交流。这门课程有很大的写作量，还需要很大的词汇量，也会为学生大学写作应用做准备。
　　ESL/English 11: Mechanics and Composition
　　To earn a diploma, all 12th graders must place out of ESL.  Therefore, some students may be required to take this course upon the decision of the Academic Dean in consultation with the English/ESL instructors.  This course will serve as an intensive review of how to write and communicate effectively in written English with emphasis on the mechanics, grammar, and structure of the English language. There will be a lot of writing. There will be a lot of vocabulary. In addition, the class will help students prepare well for writing college application essays.

　　AP微积分BC
　　这门课程是按照美国大学理事会先修课程委员会设置的课程标准来的，旨在平行大学第二学期的微积分课程。*学期的重点是复习并巩固在AP微积分AB*到的概念。这门课程的特色主题是综合数学的技巧和应用，一阶微分方程、无穷级数、参变量函数、极坐标和函数等。这一学年，学生会做AP考试题和模拟测试题，为明年五月的AP考试做准备。
　　AP Calculus BC
　　This course follows the curriculum established by the College Board Advanced Placement Committee in mathematics and is designed to parallel a second semester university-level calculus course. A significant part of the first semester is used to review and enhance concepts covered in AP Calculus AB. Topics specific to the Calculus BC curriculum include a variety of integration techniques and applications, first order differential equations, infinite series, parametric functions, and polar coordinates and functions. Throughout the year, students will be practicing AP exam-type problem solving and practice tests in preparation for the AP Examination in May.

　　高三标准课程
　　12年级的学生面临大学申请，故此学年课程自主性较强。学校要求每学期至少研修五门英语授课类课程，同时他们将在12年级完成语文、数学、英语和体育会考。因此，12年级学生课程设置为：语文、数学、英语、体育、世界文学、选修一门数学类课程、一门科学类课程、一门其他领域的课程、自习课（可作为升学指导咨询课程）和一门额外的其他领域的选修课（只针对学有余力的学生）。
　　12th Grade Standard Courses
　　12th Grade Students are facing college application with a strong curriculum autonomy. Students are expected to carry a minimum of five courses taught in English each semester. They also need to pass the Chinese, Math, English and PE Hui Kao. Therefore, the standard courses for 12th graders are: Chinese Language, Chinese Math, PE, English 12, World Literature, + 1 Mathematics Course + 1 Science Course + 1 additional course (from any subject area) + self-study / drop-in college counseling center + 1 additional course (from any subject area).
